European Universities alliances and FOREU4ALL join the Rhythm of Revolution at EAIE 2026

Nearly 50 sessions and networking events put alliances’ initiatives and
experiences in the spotlight in Glasgow. FOREU4ALL took part in topical group sessions and at the European Commission’s stand, while teaming up with our ‘sister projects’ Future4Alliances and SPREAD EUI for two special joint sessions.

FOREU4ALL Launches Third Call for Workshops

Topical Groups are invited to submit workshop proposals for the last three workshops of the series

After the first and second calls for workshops were successfully launched in June 2025 and December 2025 and that the five first workshop topics were selected, the third call for proposals is now open. Members of alliances involved in the topical groups are eligible to apply. Proposals must be coordinated through the respective Topical Group Chairing Teams. 

Aligning Project Management & Impact

Outcomes of the Granada workshop

Last April, the FOREU4ALL community convened in Granada for the workshop “Aligning Project Management and Impact: A Practical and Strategic Dialogue for European University Alliances”, jointly organised by the topical groups on Project Management and Impact and hosted by the Arqus European University Alliance at the University of Granada. The outcomes of the workshop are now published, offering collective insights for all.

Activities of the
Community of Practice
FOREU4ALL officially kicked off September with a meeting of its Project Management Team held at the ECIU office in Brussels.

The team also reconnected with representatives from the 'sister projects' Future4Alliances and SPREAD EUI, for a dedicated session focused on collaboration and alignment.
Chair of FOREU4ALL Beatrix Busse has joined Executive Vice-President Roxana Mînzatu and her Cabinet for a strategic visit to the United States, representing FOREU4ALL and the European Universities alliances and strengthening their transatlantic partnerships.
Members of the ALLIES (Alliances for Lifelong Learning, Improvement, Empowerment, and Skills) Topical Group have put together a one-pager highlighting their key achievements and milestones from the past 18 months.
Alliances gathered at the IV EUI Forum in Maynooth, Ireland, in July, with FOREU4ALL well represented throughout the programme. Several members from the community contributed to the discussions, while the database of Good Practices was also featured.

The think piece 'Defining, Counting and Reporting Mobility in the European Universities Alliances' by the FOREU4ALL topical group on Mobility explores this central aspect in European Universities alliances, analysing its different types, targets, scope, impact and formats. A summary of recommendations is also included.
